What Is You’ve Got to Be Critting Me?

You've Got to Be Critting Me is an independently produced Dungeons & Dragons actual play podcast that blends immersive fantasy storytelling, character-driven comedy, dramatic roleplay, and cinematic sound design.

Every other Monday, Dungeon Master Jeff and players Travis, Bryce, Morgan, and Nick dive deeper into Kyranda, an original fantasy world filled with ancient mysteries, dangerous creatures, strange magic, unforgettable NPCs, and the consequences of their own questionable decisions.

Their adventuring party may be deeply dysfunctional, but they're also surprisingly capable, at least when the dice cooperate.

A Fantasy Comedy Drama

If you love shows like Hello from the Magic Tavern or The Adventure Zone, this fantasy comedy adventure should feel right at home in your queue.

Whether you're a longtime tabletop RPG fan or completely new to actual play, the story is built to be easy to follow, character-driven, and entertaining beyond the game table.

Part Fantasy Epic, Part Improvised Comedy

Each episode is carefully edited with music, ambience, and sound effects to create the atmosphere of an audio drama while preserving the spontaneity, humor, and chemistry of friends playing D&D together.

Dead air and unnecessary downtime are trimmed away, leaving the story, jokes, character moments, battles, and terrible decisions that actually matter.

The result is part fantasy epic, part improvised comedy, and part serialized audio adventure.

Meet the Cast

1.jpg

Jeff

The DM of our amateur ragtag group of adventureers. Has casually DM'd for years, so that makes him a forever DM. Jack of all trades nerd.
Jeff guides the party through Kyranda, creating the characters, creatures, mysteries, and consequences waiting around every corner.
Some Dungeon Masters build worlds. Jeff builds worlds and then watches his friends immediately do something he did not plan for.

Bryce

Bryce plays Todd Van Wyk, a half-elf rogue, archaeologist, scholar, and occasional associate of forces that are probably best left unexplained. If paper beats rock, Todd beats Malcius.

4.jpg

Morgan

Morgan plays Sefi, a towering goliath fighter whose strength, loyalty, and skill in battle make her an essential part of the party. By far the smartest person at the table, Morgan brings the brain and the brawn and talks the boys out of some bad situations.

2.jpg

Travis

The editor, producer, social media manager and most handsome one on the team. Travis brings years of editing experience and a love of almost all things geeky to the podcast. Travis plays Malcius Sorrow, a silver-tongued tiefling bard whose talent for talking his way through trouble is rivaled only by his ability to find more of it.

Nick

Nick plays Thormir Moonsight, a dwarven druid with a pirate's spirit, a connection to the natural world, and a tendency to approach problems in his own unique way.
