Captain Landis

Captain Landis serves in Beckinsdale's guard. He confirms the four adventurers' guild registration and receives their reports about Jimbo's farm and, later, Aelmor.
He supplies burglary files and information about northern rifts, the Hand of the King, a suspected eastern hideout and a large gnoll camp. His account of a correlation between increased burglary and rift reports does not establish a common cause.
The party withholds its motes when reporting the island events. Landis knows the Unfated Ones as an inspirational legend and considers further investigation once reinforcements arrive.
