Cristian Casimir is the Caldera noble who married Leilana Anne Mournwind. Discovery of her renewed affair with Malcius led to Malcius's excommunication at twenty-five.
Lord Casimir and Lord Governor Casimir are treated as the same figure across the remembered and trial scenes, not duplicate characters. Threats described later do not replace the author-confirmed departure chronology with a witnessed execution.
