Moonstone

Moonstone is Thormir's home village in coastal mountains known for moonstones. He trained under its elder druid before leaving to study, then returned to find it devastated and his parents dead.

Rory's constructed world recreates a whole, snow-covered Moonstone during the Winter Lunar Festival. The party encounters people from its past and witnesses the Blessing of the Newborns. Those experiences do not establish that the real village has been rebuilt.

After rescuing families during the trial, the party rests in an apparently normal inn, then wakes in its ruined counterpart. Later a Pendilor jeweler says Moonstone's destruction has cut off his supply of moonstones.
