Silver amethyst ring

Todd secretly takes a silver ring with an amethyst from a mold-covered corpse beneath Aelmor. Disturbing it exposes him and Malcius to poisonous spores.

As identified in the scene, the ring grants advantage on Investigation and a once-daily epiphany treating a roll as a natural twenty. Later critical-card effects attached to particular attacks are separate from the ring's own powers. It is distinct from the Ring of Evasion acquired later.
