Kyranda Codex

Spoiler warning: Articles include story details through Episode 47 of the main campaign and all three episodes of Parental Advisory.

Kyranda

Kyranda is the setting of the party's journey. Reports of strange sightings and unfamiliar magic across its northern regions have drawn the attention of influential figures. The expedition from Pendilor to Sestone investigates one part of this wider concern.

Leilana Anne Mournwind

Leilana Anne Mournwind grew up with Malcius in Caldera and was his childhood sweetheart. After an early-adulthood breakup, she married the noble Cristian Casimir.

Lion's Den

The Lion's Den is Blythe Brightwood's inn in Beckinsdale and the party's initial lodging there. Its public space also hosts their study of Captain Landis's burglary records.

Magic beans

Erin gives Malcius eight beans that Harold had brought home. Helest demonstrates one by throwing it, producing an explosion, and explains that planting beans can yield unpredictable growths.

Malcius Sorrow

Malcius Sorrow is a forty-year-old tiefling bard and member of The Unfated Ones. He has crimson skin, pointed ears, horns, a tail and fiery-looking eyes. A charismatic traveling musician, he generally favors persuasion and protecting others over violence.

Malin

Malin is an enthusiastic traveler with a large backpack encountered on the cave trail. She seeks adventures and stories rather than fights, reports goblins nearby and warns against approaching the lizardfolk in the fens.

Mini Malcius

Mini Malcius is a roughly two-foot talking stone likeness of Malcius grown from a planted magical bean. It loudly insults and threatens him but cannot move from its position.

Monosis

The Monosis are druids devoted to protecting the coast around Sestone, Aelmor Island and surrounding land, wildlife and people.

Monosis Folio of the Sea

Helest gives the party the Monosis Folio of the Sea during its Sestone debrief. It is connected with the coastal druids' aquatic research. The gift does not itself reveal the Monosis sanctuary or complete Zaharel's intended return to her circle.

Moonstone

Moonstone is Thormir's home village in coastal mountains known for moonstones. He trained under its elder druid before leaving to study, then returned to find it devastated and his parents dead.

Ninkilim

Ninkilim is the name attached to Todd's petrified rat and later used for the large rat-headed patron. Their exact relationship is not fully resolved.

Northcall Inn

The Northcall Inn is Arid’s tavern and lodging house in Sestone, a short walk from the docks. Its weathered exterior includes a thatched roof, a crooked wooden sign and a compass weathervane above the chimney. The common room hosts local drinkers, travelers, musicians and games. Arid serves stew and his distinctive Hag Shot.
