Kyranda Codex

Blythe Brightwood

Blythe Brightwood runs the Lion's Den in Beckinsdale. She provides lodging and local information, including the request for reinforcements from Pendilor.

Brambleford

Brambleford lies on the route through the Golden Meadow Fields toward Pendilor. Near it, the party discovers corrupted wheat, whispers and a black glass-like rupture.

Brambleford portal battle

A rupture bleeds darkness into wheat near Brambleford, animating scarecrows and supporting a large pumpkin-headed enemy. Shadows emerging from it reinforce the creatures.

Brave Lion

The Brave Lion is a smaller, single-story Beckinsdale inn with a carved lion sign. Joanne inherited it from her father. Cindee is its morning server.

Brenneth

Brenneth is a Beckinsdale guard encountered outside the barracks. He helps the party obtain Captain Landis's burglary records. His name is also rendered Brennith in a transcript cue; Brenneth is the approved spelling.

C-Smooth

C-Smooth is Cornelius's human fighter in Parental Advisory. Raised in an orphanage, he describes fighting for what he needed, stealing in alleys and serving briefly in a fighting unit.

Caldera

Caldera is Malcius Sorrow's hometown and the setting of his childhood with Leilana Anne Mournwind. His parents remain important to his hopes of returning, making them proud and rebuilding his life after excommunication.

Captain Landis

Captain Landis serves in Beckinsdale's guard. He confirms the four adventurers' guild registration and receives their reports about Jimbo's farm and, later, Aelmor.

Cindee

Cindee serves breakfast at the Brave Lion. She has blond hair and green eyes and appears to be in her late twenties or early thirties. Joanne is expected later in the day.

Clarence

Clarence is Jimbo's male brown horse with a black mane and tail. Speaking with Thormir, he reports upright doglike raiders, a flash of light and livestock being carried away. His estimates are witness testimony rather than the exact count of the later attack. He praises Jimbo's care and enjoys apples, carrots and brushing.

Cristian Casimir

Cristian Casimir is the Caldera noble who married Leilana Anne Mournwind. Discovery of her renewed affair with Malcius led to Malcius's excommunication at twenty-five.

Crowbarmir

Crowbarmir is Thormir's ordinary crowbar, bought in Sestone and carried in its own holster. It helps pry quartz from the monastery statue and secure the tower hatch. Todd and Thormir later use it around the keeper tombs. No magical power is established.
