Shala

Shala is Todd's female familiar, first summoned as a red imp with horns and black wings. She also appears as a sprite and Sphinx of Wonder. These are forms of one companion, not separate pets; invisibility is not available in every form.

She scouts, reports telepathically and joins battles. Her friendship with Sefi includes a yellow scarf. She also helps Thormir steal magical beans, eventually expending the last party-held bean against a forest-camp spellcaster.

In Rory's constructed festival, Shala fetches the new rat-headed patron to intervene in Todd's premature transformation. She says she was instructed to withhold information and admits Todd is her first charge. Her explanation links future transformations to the new moon but leaves uncertainties.

After the Brambleford portal battle she disappears. Todd's repeated gold offerings fail to summon her back. Her location and the cause remain unresolved through Episode 47.
